Mission statement

Make trust
independently visible.

ROCKVALID is built around a simple idea: a digital document should carry evidence about its integrity and confirmation history without becoming permanently dependent on a private document silo.

On the fly

One document. One process. One verifiable result.

ROCKVALID turns a PDF into a document that can be checked later — without requiring a permanent account, a personal blockchain wallet or cryptocurrency knowledge.

01

No permanent ROCKVALID account

Each certification is a separate process for a specific document.

02

No personal blockchain wallet

ROCKVALID handles the public proof in the background. Users do not need tokens or blockchain expertise.

03

A clear action

The result records whether a person signed the document, issued it or objected to it.

04

Independent verification

The completed PDF can be shared and later checked as the exact version that was certified.

A continuing document

Several people can confirm the same document.

If a PDF already contains a valid ROCKVALID record, another person can use the current version to add a further signature or objection. Earlier confirmations remain part of the new version and can be checked together.

01

New document

The first ROCKVALID step can be an issue, a signature or an objection.

02

Existing ROCKVALID document

A later person can sign or object to the current version. ROCKVALID preserves the previous confirmation history.

03

One current file

The newest ROCKVALID PDF is the file to keep and share. It contains the history needed to understand how the document reached its current state.

04

No hidden chain database

The document itself carries the readable ROCKVALID history; the public network stores only compact proof data.

ROCKVALID does not ask you to trust a private database. It is designed so that the evidence attached to a document can be checked independently.

Privacy

Store less. Prove what matters.

The PDF is processed only as needed for certification and verification. The public proof is intentionally compact.

What the proof can contain

  • cryptographic fingerprints of the exact PDF
  • minimal ROCKVALID identifiers
  • the recorded action and time
  • only the identity-related information required by the selected process

What is not published as a blockchain archive

  • the PDF itself
  • online-banking credentials
  • unnecessary document contents
  • provider data unrelated to certification

Clear boundaries

Evidence is not absolute truth.

ROCKVALID is precise about what a successful check can show — and what it cannot.

ROCKVALID can help verify

  • that the checked PDF is unchanged
  • that a matching public proof exists
  • the recorded person, action and time
  • for continuing documents, the recorded confirmation history

ROCKVALID does not automatically prove

  • that every statement in the PDF is factually true
  • that every person had all legally required authority
  • that a document is lawful for every purpose
  • that a notarised form or qualified electronic signature is satisfied

ROCKVALID is currently a demo and development service. It is not a qualified trust service provider and does not provide a qualified electronic signature (QES).
