Section 5 DDG
Nature of the service
ROCKVALID develops digital document certification and verification systems.
A user can issue, sign or object to a PDF and receive a new ROCKVALID PDF with a verifiable record.
If a valid ROCKVALID PDF is used again, another person can add a signature or objection. Earlier confirmations remain part of the new version.
The current demo uses an external open-banking provider for the configured name check and, where shown, a payment step.
The document proof uses compact cryptographic data on a public test infrastructure. The PDF itself is not published to the blockchain.
The current service is a demo and development version. It is not a substitute for a legally required notarisation, written form or qualified electronic signature. ROCKVALID is not currently a qualified trust service provider.
